crDroid 11.6 is here!
We’re happy to announce the release of crDroid 11.6, continuing our mission to deliver a streamlined, reliable, and customizable Android experience. This version rolls out with the June 2025 security patches and a collection of system-level fixes, UI adjustments and under-the-hood changes.
⚠️ Note: Due to recent changes in Google's validation methods, Play Integrity no longer passes out of the box on crDroid 11.6. We'll continue exploring viable solutions, but users relying on apps that require strong integrity checks may experience issues.
What's new in crDroid 11.6
Security & Core Updates
- Updated Android security patches to June 2025.
- Updated translations for a more polished and localized user experience.
System Enhancements
- Initial crDroid 11.6 release!
- PixelPropsUtils:
- Fully removed Google Play Services spoofing — it was fun while it lasted.
- Spoofed Delta Force game to appear as ASUS ROG Phone 6D for compatibility.
- SystemUI:
- Improved alignment between keyguard clock and date.
- Fixed issue with Quiet Mode toggling not behaving as expected.
- Bluetooth playback: Addressed specific scenarios where playback could fail.
- Fixed issue where global hardware button wake triggered unintended screen-on behavior.
Launcher3 Improvements
- Fixed issue where cloned apps wouldn’t show up in the app drawer.
Miscellaneous
- A number of small changes and refinements sprinkled throughout the system.
